The Manor Arms dates back to the 17th century and was then owned by the Lord of the Manor. It was originally a much smaller inn with its own brew house. With a succession of different Lords, the inn was formerly known as the Bromley Arms named after the Bromley family who were the last generation of inherited title. The Manor Arms has always been very much at the heart of the community and a central meeting place for local residents.
The inn was extensively refurbished in 2013 and now offers fabulous dining areas around the central bar, with the public bar remaining at the heart of the inn and village! All renovations were done sympathetically to retain the character of the 17th Century inn.
We also offer 6 beautifully refurbished en-suite bedrooms, named after various local villages which are perfect for a country retreat. We welcome well-behaved dogs to stay with their owners at a cost of £10 per night (although we do ask that they are not left unattended in the room or allowed on the furniture!).
We have a separate function room perfect from anything from a business meeting to a family party or wedding. We also offer an a la carte menu along with our daily specials menu, so there is ample to choose from. All our food is freshly homemade by our excellent experienced chefs. We serve all of the ales and lagers you would hope for and we very much look forward to welcoming you.
